日間部四技大一新生須於「新生入學講習」時參加語言中心舉辦之「安置測驗」，語言中心將依據此分級測驗成績進行分級分班，進行適性教學（進修部及碩博士生免測）。
若無故未參加安置測驗，將無法修習該學年之必修英文課程，須於次學年之上學期補考安置測驗後，進行分級分班，方能修習「生活英文」課程。
應英系學生不需「英語能力安置測驗」。

英語能力安置測驗及補考流程
一、請詳讀英語能力安置測驗注意事項(附件)。預計8月公告
二、測驗地點：各班教室
三、務必攜帶手機，使用Tronclass系統進行https://tronclass.cyut.edu.tw/
三、測驗日期：115年9月12日(六)、115年9月13日(日)；補考日期：115年9月15日(二) 下午3時30分。

Based on the placement test results during enrollment, students will be divided into one of the four levels.
Students from the Evening Division, Master's, Doctoral, and the Department of Applied English are exempt from the test.
